Serving Our Community
Our goal is simple: to ensure that every young person has access to the communication skills they need to succeed in school, future careers, and everyday life. We believe confidence should never be limited by opportunity.

Upcoming Public Speaking Workshops
Talking Points is hosting a free public speaking workshop for students ages 6-14. We welcome all experience levels, including shy or nervous students looking to build their confidence in a supportive environment.
What to Expect
Students will dive into interactive, hands-on activities designed to build real-world communication skills. From everyday conversation practice and mock interviews to guided group discussions and public speaking games, our workshop offers a fun and encouraging space to grow as a leader and teammate.
Closing the Voice Gap.
At Talking Points, our mission is to make public speaking education accessible to students who might otherwise never receive it.

We believe that communication is more than just speaking in front of a crowd; it is the ability to express ideas, advocate for yourself, build relationships, and pursue opportunities with confidence.

By providing free communication and public speaking training to middle school students in underserved communities, we aim to close the socioeconomic "voice gap" and ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

Supported by the Dragon Kim Foundation
The Dragon Kim Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, EIN #47-5197030.
Their mission is to inspire our youth to impact their communities while discovering and pursuing their passions. The Foundation provides programs and funding to enable children to explore and pursue their passions within Academics, Athletics, and the Arts.
More Than a Summer Program
The Dragon Kim Fellowship Program supports and trains young people to develop and implement a project that impacts their community. Dragon Fellows, chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, receive leadership training, are matched with a mentor, and then are supported financially with a grant to help implement their project. This fellowship is in honor of Dragon Kim, a talented musician, athlete, and scholar who wanted to help others.
Talking Points is a project supported by the Dragon Kim Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students to create meaningful change in their communities. Through the Dragon Kim Foundation Fellowship, student leaders receive mentorship, guidance, and support to develop programs that address real needs in their communities.
This means Talking Points is not simply an informal student project. It is built within an established nonprofit framework designed to help student-led initiatives create safe, organized, and impactful experiences.
With the support of the Dragon Kim Foundation, Talking Points combines student passion with nonprofit guidance to create meaningful opportunities for young people in Santa Ana.
